Unguarded thought and rumination are the Achilles’ heel of PTSD.
PTSD IS A THOUGHT DISORDER, A MENTAL ILLNESS, a thought disease.
.

.
It’s called dissociation, leaving this present moment, to ruminate in the past or predict doom in the future.
Funny, when my mind is occupied, enthralled with a task, or absorbed in observing, PTSD fades, making enjoyment possible.
I have my moments of joy in the middle of this terror disease.
That’s how it works, do my best and leave the judgments behind for optimum wellbeing.
Without thought, my PTSD FADES OR DIES immediately.
Think about that. We direct our thought and do not let our minds wander.
PTSD NEEDS POWER, ATTENTION, ENERGY.
He/She mines it through thought and judgment.
Realize where PTSD GETS POWER?
Be present, focused on what the eyes see without comment, without judgment.
Let the visual create wonderment not dialogue.
Happy healing.
