My Rule for Childhood PTSD

Never compare, never rank, never feel sorry for yourself.

Dissociation is my Achilles heel. I bargain, deny, and wander into the “What if’s” of my trauma.

If I ruminate suffering ensues.

It is simple, if I stay present life is good, if I ruminate life sucks.

A layman’s response to PTSD.

If you do one thing, stay present.

    Excellent advise!

  2. Healing can be extremely simple. Not easy but not ruminating changes everything

    PTSD fuels when we dissociate.
Look how often we get lost in the storyline

    That’s jet fuel for trauma
