Meditators should be able to handle isolation much easier than the masses.
Meditators know they have lost Focus if they experience boredom. If I feel bored, my “Ego” has taken control.
There is no boredom if we are present, focused on what is happening now.
It may only be the flow of oxygen into our lungs followed by the release of our exhaust back into the world.
Fervent meditators need very little to find contentment in mundane experiences.
Depends on what you think life’s purpose consists of.
If happiness is contained in external things, boredom will appear shortly after satisfaction arrives.
Nothing we consume lasts very long, what we label impermanent.
We seem to covet impermanent things like they were permanent.
Impermanent things do not lead to happiness!
Remember we enter this world bare assed and leave it the same way.
Those possessions, including approval, status, power, respect along with possessions stay behind.
That brings me to the real question, What is permanent?
Any ideas?
