Mindfulness does not accomplish anything, does not overcome anything, does not defeat anyone and does not happen quickly.
Mindfulness is about letting go of thought, releasing negative emotions and living in the present moment.
If we are down, depressed, anxious, worried or afraid, our correct move is to release these emotions.
These little battles over which thought or which emotion we choose faces us every couple of minutes.
We can always choose no thought or emotion for being present, empty of thought.
These small battles determine our state of wellbeing.
Seasoned meditators experience less ups and downs on the roller coaster of life.
Practice letting go, not reacting to external stimuli!
