My two cents:
Where we place our attention is the greatest power we humans possess.
Letting go of negative thought and emotion alters perception and personality.

This is true 🙂 I try to think ‘away’ from my present.

Think away from present?
Could you expand on that thought a little more
Thoughts seemed so linked, so instrumental in ptsd, depression, anxiety and most emotions.

To think away from the flashback or memory that’s causing me to shut down. I have one memory that is a constant reminder that I’m here and not there anymore. ‘Think away.’

Thanks for the response. Ok I understand
I kinda do the same thing, I was taught to to focus on my breath intently, then let the trigger fades away.
My critical time is after a trigger. If I let it be, that is stay present and do not ruminate, the duration and intensity is contained.
I can think which will lead to worry and worse.
