Pain and fear,, a dangerous combination

.
.
.

Let us deal with pain first. Pain is read in two different ways. One, the actually injury itself is experienced, then we have a part of the mind that adds color, how we feel and react to this pain.
*
*
Look at how each one of us differs in pain tolerance. Evil Knievel’s pain threshold differs from a fragile teenager. The way Evil and this teenager experience pain is entirely different.
*
*
Evil does not fear pain and creates situations that bring pain into his life. The teenager fears pain, avoids pain and sees pain as part of suffering.
*
*
Any attention we give to pain increases its intensity.
*
*
One more time: think good, bad or indifferent about your pain and it will grow.
*
*
I do not give my pain any time in my thoughts. When I feel pain, it is acknowledged briefly then I come back to now.
*
*
Pain does no damage until it reaches a point of intensity that passes a certain threshold.
*
*
Otherwise it can be ignored, minimized or condensed inside our
Mind.
*
*
To be continued
