“Thinking will not overcome fear but action will.” – W. Clement Stone – .

Thought?

.

.
.
Thinking enhances fear, judging intensity and consequences, then adding stronger emotions to the mix.
.
Thinking facilitates leaving this moment to explore where this fear fits in comparison to past fears.
.
Now, thought has taken fear on a dissociative tour of delusion and importance.
.
Fear has grown, its duration extended, its power increased, its scariness enhanced, all because of thought.
.
Mindfulness is the counterweight for this messy process of confusion.
.
Let go, breathe, focus on the breath, and know we are fine, alive, right now, right here, take action using these criteria, not thought.
