PTSD can not play Defense at all!!!

Olga Boznanska

Trauma thrives in a dissociated state but withers without attention.  Trauma can not play defense at all.

Trauma needs fuel and constant thoughts of fear and anxiety. Trauma needs us to react and leave this moment ever day for long periods.
Trauma is helpless in the present moment and dies quickly.  Try not reacting to your fear or thoughts and see what transpires.  Do something different, reach a little farther and heal a little more.

Ok that sounds great in theory….but when there really are lions tigers or bears trying to rip you up, and they’ve been hunting you for days and you haven’t slept for days, exactly how does that work??

  2. No theory. Trauma or C-PTSD does not play defense well.

if you are exposed to real danger in this current moment, that is different.

The trauma lions, tigers and bears are ghosts living in our amygdala they are not real.

Trauma from childhood does not need to hunt you it is you.
